RANGER STATION GALLERY, HARRISON HOT SPRINGS
KENT HARRISON ARTS COUNCIL ARTIST RESIDENCY
SEPTEMBER 2015 - AUGUST 2016
A one year residency studying the surface impressions of life lake-side. Influenced by the practice of plein-air painting common to the area and its ability to document the shifting conditions of the same site. Works include daily observations of the surface colour of the lake during the Spring turnover, text sourced from community question boxes placed in the gallery, and textiles found at the local thrift store.
